I guess the insightful aspects of a film like poker face are largely lost on the current impatient and deplorably shallow generation of film audiences. It's not a great film by any means, but neither is it a mediocre film.The series centers on Charlie Cale, a casino worker with an innate ability to detect lies, traveling across the United States on the run from a casino boss following a suspicious death. Along the way, she encounters colorful characters and solves homicides in a variety of settings.
