The online gambling laws dictate that Austria-based companies are eligible for online gaming licences via the internet, mobile phones and interactive television, but only Austrian residents are allowed to use them.Since only licensed casinos domiciled in Switzerland may offer online gaming services, access to gaming services not licensed in Switzerland by organisers that are domiciled or resident abroad is blocked (Article 86 of the Money Gaming Act).
